Zilber served as a Circuit Court Judge for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit serving in the Civil, Family, Dependency, and Criminal Divisions before retiring in May 2021 to join private practice. Prior to that, he was Of Counsel and Partner to Stolzenberg, Gelles & Zilber, and General Counsel and Partner to Avatar Reality, Yale and Lansdowne Mortgage. In 1997, he became Vice-President of Mergers and Acquisitions for a publicly traded company (Coach U.S.A.), traveling throughout the United States negotiating private business acquisitions for the public entity.

Zilber is a distinguished leader in the legal profession and an active member of the community having served as an Adjunct Professor at Miami Dade College and FIU, a Judicial Director and board member of the University of Miami School of Law, and as a member of the Jackson Hospital Public Health Trust. He was also Vice Chair of the Miami Dade County’s Cultural Affairs Council and served as an elected Councilman for the Village of Coconut Grove.
